As we close a year that has been especially challenging and at the same time incredibly expansive, we naturally turn our attention to what changes we'd like to see in the coming year. For many, this is a time of reflection. What did we learn in the past 12 months? What mistakes did we make? Where did we hold back, or jump into something unprepared? Looking over the past year can give us insight into how we have functioned, what worked, and what didn't.
If you're like me, you like to complete something to make way for something new. Unfinished projects lying around create clutter and chaos, interfering with clear thinking and communication. Meditation can be a big help in closing the cycles of the year and planting seeds for the new one.
